If you are going to keep making games that feature Kite, please remake .hack//IMOQ and possibly G.U. with these amazing new graphics you’ve discovered, as well as update the gameplay.

Market it like a new game.

Then, when you decide to make a new game for real, make an original, non-Kite protagonist. Don’t make a game like LINK again, because I’m pretty sure that’s what killed the .hack// franchise.

A TRILOGY-style movie about IMOQ would be nice, as well.

P.P.S: If you absolutely must remake LINK, please make at least one character from every story arc playable. Shorter stories may be part of larger arcs (I.e., .hack//Wotan’s Spear is part of AI Buster, and .hack//Kamui, RUMOR, and Firefly are part of Legend of the Twilight).

Also, don’t give everyone an Xth form. Technically, only Haseo and the Epitaph users (Atoli, Kuhn, Yata, Sakubo, Pi, and Ovan) are capable of it, and the only ones who really deserve it are the big-name characters (Kite, Haseo, Tokio, possibly Tsukasa).

Oh Kite, for a fictional AI who is acting as an older version of an online hero, you look pretty awesome in an Xth form.

Not that I liked .hack//Link. The only character besides Haseo that deserved an Xth form was Kite, though it’s only possible for all eight epitaph users. In Link, however, every playable character has access to an Xth form.

(Kite is a person in the original four games, but in Link he’s an AI who believes he’s the 23-year old incarnation of Kite. That’s the only plausible explaination, considering he remembers Tokio despite Tokio only traveling through the memories of The World, not actual time)

So yesterday, we went to Creekside and flew kites. It was very なつかしい~

(derp I sound like a weaboo mixing languages like this)

But yeah. I remember when I lived in Dallas, come spring, the weather would get really nice like it is now, and it seemed like on windy days, everyone was at the park flying kites. I remember this kite was my second kite, after a barbie kite from when I was really young. The wind was always much stronger up there.

I also remember my sister had a kite shaped like an airplane, and it had enough string that it went to high to really be able to tell where it was… (but I thought the same thing of my Pikachu kite, so it must be that I was just short)

I remember one night where the little boy across the street and I flew kites late at night, and how he accidentally let go of his so it flew off somewhere and he had to chase it.

I remember kite strings and tails taught me how to untangle things.

To this day, my old faithful Pikachu kite is the only one that really flies well at all…
